I've created a DTS package. Then I want to copy it to another computer (not
networking/stand alone). My imagine, it can be copied to disc. So I can
rebuild it form its disc. Is My imagine right? or Can I do it?Open the DTS package, and From the 'Save as' option, save it as a .dts file.
Copy this .dts file to the target machine. Then open Enterprise Manager on
that machine, right click on 'Data Transformation Services' node, and select
'Open package' option. Then select this .dts package. Then save it again to
your target SQL Server.
